Bio
I was born in the Midwest, raised on the West coast, and educated in the East. I learned to throw a frisbee at a young age because my brother was involved in the sport. I played Ultimate for the Chico State Air-heads and Penn State's - Highly Enlightened Lords of the Valley's.
Threw my first golf disc when I was 40 years old...It's weird how I was introduced to the sport so late in the game (by my ex-hippie brother).
I finished 4th at the 1999 AM Worlds in Adv. Masters.

Most Memorable Moment
My most memorable moment in Disc Golf had to be during the SkyCatz Super Tour event at Penn Valley/Grass Valley. I got to the course (PV) on Friday, a day early, for some practice. I opened my trunk and my heart sunk to my stomach. I forgot my discs! I didn't panic. I found an old Valkyrie under the seat that I had retired and had a new CE Valkyrie and Cobra in my trunk that I had just bought from DiscGolfDude. I borrowed a new putter (Magnet) and a small bag and decided to play with that.
To make a long story short, I won, beating out Dave Greenwell by 1. The last hole was played in front of a gallery of around 100 people. It was all new to me since I still felt like a rookie at that time. Ken Climo won the Open that weekend and he came up to me unexpectedly and congratulated me. We signed autographs for some kids. It was totally awesome! And it was one of the fattest payouts in Nor Cal at $1,250. Now that's memorable!
